Who am I to talk about this?
I’m not an optometrist — and that’s exactly the point. I grew up in one of the pioneering ortho-K practices in the country, watching my dad, Dr. Cary Herzberg, change kids’ lives with this specialty for 40+ years. I ran the American Academy of Orthokeratology & Myopia Control for over 15 years and created Vision by Design — the event people call the Super Bowl of Myopia Management.
So I’m the guy who knows everyone, who’s seen behind the curtain of the most successful practices, and who isn’t afraid to ask the questions doctors won’t. Every week I bring you real conversations — tips and pearls, honest stories, and the occasional hot-button issue — with some of the most passionate and successful specialists in the world.
